Monteith Steen have been praised for their extensive and exacting Optimism Bias model on the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s prestigious Musgrave Street 10,500m2 headquarters building. 

The model developed by the team at Monteith Steen, reviews over 300 project risks using the latest risk assessment techniques to output quantifiable risks to the contract programme and to the predicted final cost.

Using our understanding of construction procurement and the specialist knowledge of the client team, we were able to put together a comprehensive list of possible risks to the project.  As a project team we then assessed the likelihood of the risks, their affect on programme and their cost.  Alongside that we evaluated the costs and programme impact of mitigating the risks before we started even digging the first hole.
