Procurement in Government

In a recent conference for lawyers and public sector Procurement Officers, Monteith Steen's evaluation modelling was used as an exemplar of good practice.

We have never had a challenge to our procurement process over the 15 years that we have been using and refining it.  We have had suppliers who were looking to challenge de-selection, but once they have been through the debriefing session they have recognised that our process offers a fair, open and compliant procurement process.

Project Tracker

Now that Project Tracker provides live data all the time, there is no rushing around at the end of the month to produce project reports, fighting with other sponsors at the photocopier, or managers having to look at 10 different report formats. All the information for every project is available at the click of a button. This saves hours of work for every project sponsor every month when, like our department, there are over 500 projects at any one time, it must be 2 or 3 days in total every month.
